Ministry Description

ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL MISSION TRIP MINISTRY

The International Mission Trip Ministry seeks to be the hands and feet of Christ by sharing the gifts and love we have received from Christ to our brothers and sisters in Christ in Guatemala and Peru.

A new team of parishioners travels each year to Catholic communities in either Santa Apolognia, Guatemala or Puerto Maldonado, Peru, alternating each year from one to the other. In May 2019, our first team of 11 parishioners traveled to Guatemala to provide labor and materials for a construction project, as well as medical support for the local community. In June 2020, a team of parishioners will travel to Puerto Maldonado, Peru to work with the Family of Jesus the Healer religious community.

The mission team is asked to pay for all travel and accommodations to participate. If you feel called to join a team, but are unable to for financial reasons, please contact Fr. Kevin directly through our Parish Office.
