St. Maria Goretti's Men's Faith Formation Series, hosted by our parish's Holy Name Society, will meet every Tuesday from 6-7 a.m. spanning March 11 to April 22 in the parish narthex (enter Door 5 from the south parking lot) to read and discuss the book titled, "The Fountain of Youth" , provided at no cost to you. It was written by Catholic speaker and Relevant Radio "Life Coach" Dave Durand. Centered on the Sacrament of Reconciliation, "The Fountain of Youth is a real-talk, down-to-earth conversation about what it means to be human, what holiness looks like in a fallen world, and how to leave behind the baggage and rise again. We will read one chapter per week and discuss it together in small groups. Bottomless cups of coffee are provided! Tired of all the demands tugging at you? Do you feel like you could use some space to just get away? Come to our campus for a peaceful day of prayer. Enjoy the beautiful grounds, visit the shrines, read in one of our cozy gathering spaces, make the Way of the Cross, spend time in prayer in the St. Joseph Chapel. Experience the wonder of silence and scripture on our beautiful campus. This Ignatian-guided silent retreat begins with conferences on prayer. Over the course of the weekend, guests will make seven holy hours with different scriptures taken from the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Mass, optional Liturgy of the Hours with catechesis, optional spiritual direction, optional reconciliation, and plenty of quiet time for reflection and prayer is built into the weekend.
