The International Mission Trip Ministry consists of men and women who serve the communities of Santa Apolognia, Guatemala or Puerto Maldonado, Peru. A new team of parishioners are sent each year, alternating each year between these two communities. The work performed on each trip will depend on the needs of the local community.
The International Mission Trip Ministry seeks to be the hands and feet of Christ by sharing the gifts and love we have received from Christ to our brothers and sisters in Christ in Guatemala and Peru.
A new team of parishioners travels each year to Catholic communities in either Santa Apolognia, Guatemala or Puerto Maldonado, Peru, alternating each year from one to the other. In May 2019, our first team of 11 parishioners traveled to Guatemala to provide labor and materials for a construction project, as well as medical support for the local community.
The mission team is asked to pay for all travel and accommodations to participate. If you feel called to join a team, but are unable to for financial reasons, please contact our Parish Office.
