School Council Mission Statement

St. Maria Goretti School Council is a service ministry to provide advisement and support to the administration. Accordingly, the Council serves as a neutral forum for parents and administrators to work together to promote unity and enrich the Catholic educational experience.

Bringing Concerns to the School Council 

A parent may bring a concern or idea regarding a specific policy or procedure by completing a “School Council Request Form,” which is available online in the addendum section of the Family Policy Guide.  The completed form may be dropped off at the school office.  A parent may also get in touch directly with a School Council member via email or in person.  School Council has the discretion to gather information and submit the request for the Council’s meeting agenda.  School council may refer requests to the Principal for resolution if deemed appropriate.  

As school parents, the members of School Council are here to facilitate constructive communication between parents and school administration.
