The Welcome Committee welcomes our new parishioners after each of the Lord’s Day Masses as we would welcome Christ and work to create an inviting environment to make all feel like family. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we greet, welcome, educate, and inspire the newest members of the St. Maria Goretti community to share their gifts, talents, and love by their active participation in our vibrant community.
“We have met so many fantastic new parishioners who have a variety of backgrounds. It’s fun just to talk with our new treasures and learn of their talents, hopes, and dreams for themselves and their families. Often we uncover a need and facilitate resolution.”

Each year, there are three welcome luncheons that offer our newest parishioners an opportunity to meet our priests, other new parishioners and staff as well as an opportunity to tour our church and school and learn about the ministries offered by our parish.
